New Delhi: The trade union government works on the model for the opening of staggering schools for the physical class after all protocols related to Covid-19, said the source on Thursday.
The school has closed in most countries for physical class after the emergence of a new omicron variant of the virus.
Most students have attended online classes, except for some short periods of them, for almost two years now because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“When parents have demanded school opening, the trade union government worked on the model for the opening of the staggering school after all the protocols related to Covid,” said a high source.
The delegation of parents led by Chandrakant Lahariya, an epidemiologist and public policy specialist, and President Yamini Aiyar’s policy research center, have met with Deputy Chairperson of Minister Delhi Manish Sisodia on Wednesday to submit a memorandum signed by schools reopened.

Similar demands have been made in several other states, although other parts of parents have supported the continuation of online classes.
The Delhi government recommends the reopening schools in the national capital, but the decision about this was postponed until the next meeting by Delhi’s disaster management authority on Thursday.
It is necessary to prevent further damage to the social and emotional welfare of children, Sisodia said on Wednesday.
By asserting that online education has never been able to replace offline education, Sisodia said the government has closed the school when it is not safe for children, but excessive caution now harms students.
After briefly opened, the schools in Delhi were closed on December 28 last year considering the third wave of Covid-19 driven by the Omicron variant.
