At present, the time gap between two covishield doses is 12 to 16 weeks..
According to the initial permission given by the drug controller General India (DGCI), the second dose of covishield must be given 4-6 weeks after the first dose and the second dose of Covaxin will be given 28 days after the first time..
The interval is then extended to 4-8 weeks for Covishiel.
