BELAGIVAVI: Heed the long-awaited demand for pro-Kannada organizations, the state government has decided to rename the Mumbai-Karnataka region as Kitture-Karnataka.
After inaugurating Chennamana Kitture Utsava in Kittur on Saturday, the Chairman of the Minister of Bukavaraj Bommai said the next cabinet meeting would delete the proposal.
