The Nagpur company developed the country’s first armed drone for troops

Nagpur: Economic Explosives Private Defense Manufacturer Limited (EEL) has developed the first customary drone and a wandering ammunition system.
This was exhibited before the head of the General Bipin Defense Staff, who visited the company’s facilities here on Monday.
Eels have stated readiness to continue the project and offer it to the armed forces in the coming months.
This system is billed to be more suitable for the field along all of the Indian borders.
Eels say the cost of the product will also be lower than what is imported by the armed forces today.
The army currently has a similar system of Israel and Polish sources, the source of Independent told toi.
Apart from the drone, the company has also developed anti-drone missiles, which can fire Salvo and take a bunch of drones well before they can attack.
User trials are planned in the coming months for various drone versions and anti-drone systems, source words.
Eel is a subsidiary wholly owned from Solar Industries Limited (SIL) – led by entrepreneur Satyanarayan Nuwal.
The press release by the company said the wandering ammunition was also known as a suicide drone.

India has so far depended on importing this system.
The Solar Group will be the first indigenous company to develop it at home.
The company as developing three versions of 1.5kg weight, 4kg and 10kg, with a range of 15, 25 and 100 km.
