Coimbatore: In an effort to stop people from waiting in vaccination centers throughout the night and to prevent people from distant areas into the centers of the country and eliminate local residences from getting vaccines, the district government has decided to announce Panchayats where vaccination will only be done in the morning.
All today, the names of the vaccination center and the number of dozes allocated for the centers were announced the previous day.
This resulted in people who submit vaccination centers from midnight and wait all night.
Then published a series of photos on Tuesday that showed a number of people, including age, waiting in the cold weather all night to get vaccination the next morning.
Often there are also complaints that people from neighboring areas also come to these centers and get Jab, seizing people from that location.
The statement from the district administration said that the name of the Panchayat where vaccination will be announced only that day will be announced at 8 am.
Tokens for vaccination will be excluded from 10 am in the centers and the vaccine will be given from 11:00 to those who get tokens.
