Srinagar: National Conference (NC) has not announced his decision to participate in restriction training in Jammu and Kashmir.
NC leader, who did not want to be named, said on July 3 that parties held several internal discussions on this issue.
“President NC [Farooq Abdullah] will take the last call about the problem most likely tomorrow [July 4].
He then announced the decision itself,” he said.
President NC has not made an announcement.
The majority of NC leaders have expressed their willingness to join training, stating that party advice will help commissions to frame “reports that are impartial”, said party sources.
According to sources, NC has directed party workers to submit their requests to take part in the meeting to the district election officers.
The restriction commission will be on a four-day visit to J & K from July 6-9 to interact with political parties, their government leaders and officials to collect first hand input in the replacement process of the election constituency limits.
Simultaneous meetings will be held at Jammu and Kashmir at 6.
July APNI Party Altaf Bukhari and the Sajjad Lone Peoples conference have received the invitation.
Congress on Sunday announced his decision to join the deliberations.
