The National Convention for Farmers for Mark 9 months protest began at the Singhu border

New Delhi: National Convention by farmers to mark the completion of nine months of their agitation of the controversial three agricultural laws began at the Singhu border on Thursday.
The two-day events will see the participation of 1,500 delegates in all farmers, women, youth and labor organizations, intended for “intensification and expansion” sustainable movements for central agricultural law.
As part of the Convention, three sessions will be held on Thursday, including the first session, and each in industrial workers; Agricultural, rustic, poor and tribal workers.
Among the topics expected to be discussed is “revoking the three pro-corporate agriculture laws, law guarantees for MSP from all plants, revoking electricity bills, 2021, and no public prosecution under the Air Quality Management Commission in NCR and Area Coexy Bill 2021 “.
Farmers have been nervous at the Delhi border demanding the revocation of three laws since November last year.
They have repeatedly declared fear of the Lost Law with the minimum support price (MSP), leaving them at the mercy of large companies.
More than 10 rounds of talks with the government that has projected laws as the main agricultural reform has failed to break the deadlock between the two parties.
“It is very sad that it is nine months but the government is still not ready to speak.
But we should not feel demotivated.
During this convention we will reflect on what we have and what we have obtained for the past nine months,” said Leader Bharatiya Kisan (BKU ) Tikait Rakesh when talking to the protesters on the Singhu border.
