New Delhi: Former Church member and the Kashmir Legislative Council and National Conference leader Trilochan Singh Wazir was found dead in a flat in Moti Nagar Delhi Barat on Thursday, police said.
The murder case has been registered in this matter, they said.
The 67-year-old Vizier’s body was found in a partial situation in a flat room in the Lariai Darapur area which was rentured by his introduction Harpreet Singh, they said.
Former J & K Leader of MLC and National Conference Trilochan Singh Wazir was found dead in Delhi Barat Datarcording to them, Vizier had arrived in Delhi recently and had lived with Singh since then.
Some teams have been formed to trace Singh who fled, police said.
Vizier, resident of Jammu, should take flight to Canada on September 2.
When there was no news about it for days, his family told the police officer who in turn approached Delhi police, a police officer said.
On Thursday, Delhi police also received PCR’s call to complain about the foul odor from the flat in Moti Nagar.
When he reached the place, the police opened the door and found a partial body in a small room, said a senior police officer.
“Information about the recovery of a body was received at the Moti Nagar Police Station.
When it reached that point, our team found an unraveled body identified as Trilochan Singh Vizier by one of his acquaintances,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), said Goel Urvija.
The exact nature of the injury to the body will be ascertained only after post-mortem examination where the doctor’s board has been formed, the officer said.
The leader of the National Conference Omar Abdullah said he was shocked at the death of his colleague.
“Surprised by the terrible news about the death of my sudden colleague Sardar TS Wazir, a former member of the legislative council.
Just a few days ago that we sat together at Jammu did not realize it was the last time I would meet him..
May his soul rest calmly,” He tweeted.
