The NDA exam 2022: SC is looking for a central response about limiting the number of women candidates up to 19

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday searched for a response from the center of the intake of only 19 female candidates at the National Defense Academy (NDA) and other military-managed schools and colleges for 2022.
Judge Judge Sanjay Kulul and MM Sundresh issued a notification to the center after being told that 19 female candidates will be accepted in NDA from a total of 370 seats.

The central government told the bench that the intake of female candidates in NDA depends on strength requirements and agreed to submit a written statement within three weeks that explain their attitude.
The top of the court gave three weeks to the center to submit Affidavit and asked the parties to file their enthusiasts in two weeks after that and registered this problem to hear further on March 6.
Last year, the APEX court had directed that prospective women were allowed to appear in the NDA entrance examination.
