Kathmandu: The Nepalese government on Sunday warns its citizens to oppose the actions of “despicable and embarrassing” which can hurt the dignity of friendly countries after several people burned the Narendra PM stretch during protests in the country.
In a statement, the Ministry of Home Nepal said that PM had noted “Slogan songs, held a demonstration and protest and burned e-effigions to tarnish the image of the close of close friendly countries”.
However, the Ministry of Home Statement did not identify leaders.
The statement occurred after the students and youth organizations belonging to the powerful alliance and the opposition burned the PM Modi ribbon during the protest for the death of a Nepalese young man when he crossed the Mahakali river near the border with India in July.
The ministry of home said it would take action to control the activities targeted against neighboring countries and will punish those who involve themselves in activities that violate such law.
