The new Coimbatore City Police Commissioner said he would give priority to women’s safety, children

Coimbatore: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pradip Kumar took over as police commissioner, Coimbatore City, on Saturday night.
He received the Honorary Guard at the City Police Commissioner.
Then, overcoming the media, Pradip Kumar said the city police would give priority to the safety of women and children.
Crime against women, children and senior citizens will be given a priority.
Actions will be taken to reduce road accidents.
“We will take the steps needed to maintain legal and order situations in the city.
We have a good police team in the city,” Pradip Kumar said.
He said he would focus on organized crime including work rackets, cheating money and property crime.
“Strict actions will be taken against anti-social elements in the city.
I hope that we can bring some positive changes in the city with coimbatore community cooperation,” said Pradip Kumar.
