Thiruvananthapuram: The country recorded 30,203 fresh Covid-19 cases from more than 1,60,152 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Positive test level at 18.86%.
A total of 115 deaths were recently confirmed as caused by the disease of taking dead in the state of the state for 20,789.
At the same time 20,687 patients had recovered the total recovery for 38.17.004 and the number of active cases for 2,18,892.
Among the new cases, 28,419 people were infected through local deployment.
The source of contact from infection cannot be traced to 1,521 people.
There are 116 health professionals between those infected and 147 people have arrived from outside the country.
Malappuram reported the highest number of cases with 3576 followed by Ernakulam (3548), Kollam (3188), Kozhikode (3066), Thrissur (2806), Palakkad (2672), Thiruvananthapuram (1980), Kottayam (1938), Kannur (1927), alappuzha (1833), Pathanamthitta (1251), Wayanad (1044), Idukki (906) and Kasaragod (468).
The number of people who get infected through local contact in each district are as follows: Malappuram (3425), Ernakulam (3466), Kollam (3179), Kozhikode (3030), Thrissur (2788), Palakkad (1628), Thiruvananthapuram (1878 ), Kottayam (1812), Kannur (1846), Alappuzha (1786), Pathanamthitta (1229), Wayanad (1022), Idukki (874) and Kasaragod (456).
A total of 296 wards in different local bodies have a weekly infection population ratio (WIPR) more than 7%.
In the ward of strict lock limit it has been carried out.
The number of infected health workers in each district is as follows: Kannur 21, Wayanad 17, Palakkad 15, Idukki 12, Kasaragod 10, Kollam and Ernakulam 8 respectively, Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta 7 respectively, Thrissur 6, Kozhikode 3 , and Alappuzha and Malappuram 1 respectively.
There were a total of 5,45,393 people when under observations in various districts 5,13,686 were in their homes and in Covid centers and 31,707 were in isolation at the hospital.
