Hyderabad: The country recorded a slight increase in new cases, recorded 767 Covid-19 cases as on Tuesday due to 696 recorded the previous day.
The cumulative case is now at 6.33,146 while three deaths took victims since the beginning of the pandemic last year to 3,738.
As on Tuesday, the state has 10,604 active cases while 848 recovered, took cumulative recovery to 6.19,344 so far.
The current recovery rate established at a 97.8 percent increase while the case mortality rate reached 0.59 percent.
A total of 1,18,778 tests carried out on Tuesday with the state have now completed 1.99.84,746 Covid-19 test so far, reaching a test level of 5,36,935 tests carried out per million populations.
Khammam, with 84 infections, recorded the maximum number of new cases such as on Tuesday, exceeding the daily number of 77 new cases of the larger Hyderabad (GHMC) region while manserial recorded 65 new cases, the highest in the state.
Among the Neigbouring District of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Sanguru recorded 42, 26 and nine respectively.
Peddapalli recorded 59 new cases.
In the midst of the concern of the third wave that is possible, the Director of Public Health once again urges the public to seek medical assistance if they experience symptoms such as fever, coughing, sore throat, difficulty breathing, body pain.
