Chennai: C Sylendra Babu IPS, who assumed the office as Director of Police Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, said he would take steps to provide the right training to the police to deal with the community.
“Our actions will immediately speak,” he said.
Sylendra Babu said all deficiencies in the police will soon be recorded.
“As I just followed, I will see all possible aspects to describe the police department in the right perspective,” said the new DGP to reporters.
He said, “Law and order and crime are two of the police’s eyes.
This is our top priority.” Batch 1987 IPS officers from Kanyakumari thanked the Chief Minister M K Stalin for giving him the opportunity to work as Chief of Police forces.
“The petition given to the office of the Minister of Chief will be completed within 30 days.
We will send detailed reports to the CM office every month,” he said.
