NEW DELHI: Minister of Union Anurag Thakur on Sunday launched the Indian Fit Cellular Application at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium on National Sports Day.
Accompanied by Junior Minister Nisith Pramanik, the two ministers also interacted virtually with the captain of the Indian Hockey team, Manpreet Singh.
“The App Fit India Mobile brings the convenience of checking a person’s fitness level right into the palm of every Indian.
It has several unique features such as ‘Fitness Scores’, animated videos, activity trackers and ‘my plans’ that serve (AN) Specific needs of individuals,” said Thakur, even when he showed his own fitness with the help of a jumping rope before the audience that had gathered.
Thakur said PM Modi had launched a fitness protocol that fitness in accordance with the age of last year, was certified by whom, and was given a fitness spell ‘dosage ki fitness, aadha ghanta roz’ to people in the country.
Manpreet Singh praises application features that are easy to use applications and utilities in monitoring health parameters.
