Ranchi: The construction department of the state government has told the Jharkhand High Court that the remaining work of the new High Court Building on the land of HEC will be finished soon.
The department said the quantity bill was resolved and the financial offer of the prospective bidder would be opened to conduct the final election.
The Division of Judge Soujit Narayan Prasad and Justice Ratnaker Bhengra had ordered the state to submit a status report in this issue while hearing litigation of public interest (pill) submitted by Advocates Rajeev Kumar.
This case will be heard on October 7.
Kumar has submitted a pill in 2018 which exposes anomalies in the construction work of the new High Court Building which is now being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
