Coimbatore: A newly married man and his mother was killed in a car accident near the Estate Industrial Sidco at Coimbatore-Pollachi Road on Wednesday morning.
His wife managed to escape with a minor injury.
The event was identified as S ShyamPrasad, 28 and his mother Manjula, 50, Sundarapuram.Shyamprasad, an IT employee, was married to the benefit of Bodinayakakur in the district of Sunday on Monday.
“They traveled to Bodinayakkakur when the accident occurred.
Shyamprasad drove a car and nail in the front seat.
Manjula was in the back seat with her husband Savudayappan.
The car collided directly with a truck carrying blue metal at Sebebung.
ShyNPRasad died in place and Manjula died on the way to Hospital.
Savudayappan suffered some broken, “said a police officer Inspector T Saroja conducted an investigation.
