The Apple M1 chip makes a serious impact on the PC processor market with solid performance and power efficiency.
And while the other chip makers are still trying to catch up and overcome it, Apple is reported to have a successor to be a chip of M2 chip, according to a report by Phonearena.
The Apple M1 chip is built using the 5NM TSMC process node.
However, according to the report, the M2 chip which is thought to be expected to be produced using the TSMC 4NM processor note.
The 4nm process node means that the upcoming processor will be more powerful and strong compared to its predecessor.
The Apple M2 chip is also expected to make its debut with Apple MacBook Air next year according to a report by TF International Reliable Ming-Ching Kuo analyst.
The M2 chip is expected to display a total of eight core which includes four high-performance core and four energy saving cities.
This processor also speculates to display enhanced graphic cores.
In addition, Cupertino-based technology giants are also expected to announce a high-performance version of the M1 chip nicknamed as M1x.
This processor is expected to come with 10 core and around 32 GPU core for better graphics performance.
The company is expected to launch a processor with the Apple MacBook Pro 2021 lineup.
Until now, there was no confirmation from Apple whether it would launch a processor or not.
However, if it happens, they will put market leaders to a narrow place.
