Ghaziabad: Drive Mega Vaccination on September 27 will focus on people over 45 years that have not taken a single dose of covid vaccine.
During a special 10-day survey, the Ghaziabad Health Department has identified more than 86 thousand people in this category which has not taken a single dose.
Officials say now the focus is to take them to vaccine centers and for these health workers such as Asha and Anganwadi workers relate to them and urge them to take the earliest shot.
During the mega drive on September 17, Ghaziabad has given the second highest number of shots in one day even though it failed to reach its target to manage 85,000 shots.
About 74000 beneficiaries were given jab in 177 medical facilities.
Another Mega Drive is planned for September 20, but cannot be done.
The department will once again try to vaccinate more than 85,000 people in the upcoming Mega Drive.

More than 6.40 lakh people were fully vaccinated.
