Microsoft is reported to be working on the successor to the laptop book 3 of the surface and is expected to launch it later this year, according to a report by Windows Central.
The possibility is called surface laptop 4, it is expected to display the latest generation specifications and features.
However, a new report suggests that the company can bring new hinge design and mechanisms.
Windows Central also speculates that laptops may not be successor directly to Surface Pro 3.
Instead it can be a surface book Pro or Surface Book Studio.
There is no strong evidence available for these names.
So, allegations of surface books 4 should display new form factors and hinge design.
This information is based on a recent patent submitted by the company and according to him, Microsoft may remove the design of the surface book that can be removed and moved towards designs such as the studio that is more like a surface.
Images of the patent application indicate that the display can be pulled forward and returns as needed.
This will not only add more flexibility as a ‘pro’-grade laptop, it will also allow Microsoft to introduce a far strong internal to the lineup.
So, we can hope to see a much stronger 8-core processor such as other premium offers on the market rather than just a 4-core CPU.
