Noida: It was found between Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and the Yamuna River, sectors 162, 163 and 164 were decked up for the next industrial planning phase in this city.
Noida authorities have bought land from local villagers and started civil work in the area.
While the 164 sector will be intended for warehouse and logistics companies, the other two are for institutional, commercial and non-pollution industries.
In fact, this is for the first time the authority will develop and dedicate a sector for warehousing activities.
“We want to offer land at competitive prices.
With international airports that appear in the shipping and corridor shipments in Dadri, many companies have rang us about their needs.
They want the land close to the toll road,” said OSD (industrial) authority, Avinash Tripathi.
The authority has chosen the 164 sector for this purpose because it is located among the airports that will come in the Jewar and Delhi.
To provide forms in the sector, the authority planning department is busy preparing a wide network of arterial and internal roads.
“Compared to other sectors, internal roads will be wider to overcome heavy vehicle movements, trucks and trailers,” said an official from the Planning Division.
In addition to e-commerce, companies into food chains, refineries, cement production, electronics, chemicals, plastics, metallic products, furniture, clothing, and clothing requires large space to store raw materials and products on the way.
Meanwhile, the adjacent sector of 162 will be reserved for non-pollution industrial units, while the 163 sector has been intended for institutional plots and commercial activities.
Authority has taken land from farmers in Gulawali Village to develop sector 162.
Officials said that 35 plots for industrial use were being prepared and everything was in the final stages of development.
The plot area varies in size and span of more than 8,000 square meters to 1.45 lakh sqm (35 hectares).
Authority is expected to provide these plots to established companies looking for a minimum plot of two hectares along the toll road.
Likewise, the land taken over in the village of Mohiyapur will be used to provide a form in the sector 163.
For mixed use, the authority will offer 26 plots while 19 other plots will be offered for commercial use.
The size of the plot will be in the range of 4,700-14,000 square meters.
