The next speaker from the Maha Assembly will be from Cong: Pawar

Pune: Head of the Sharad Pawar NCP on Sunday said the three ruling constituents of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) had decided that the next speaker from the Maharashtra legislature would come from the Congress Party.
The post fell emptiness after the MLA Congress Nana Patole resigned in February this year to take over as President of the Maharashtra Party unit.
Speaking to reporters in the city of Baramati in Pune District, said Pawar, “three parties (Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress) decided that new speakers were only from the Congress.
We will all support anything that the party decides (Congress) about the speaker (candidate) “.
Recently, Governor Maharashtra B S Koshyari has written to the Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray to receive a call to fill the speaker’s position.
However, the selection of speakers cannot be held during the two-day Monsun session which was recently concluded as the state legislature.
Replying questions about the suspension of 12 MLAS BJP during the Monsun session because of the alleged behavior of bad, said pawar, “they were suspended based on what happened in the Assembly.
