Letter: National Green Tribunal (NGT) has ordered the establishment of a nine member committees led by former Chairman of the former Delhi BC Patel High Court to ask Gas Sachin GIDC 6, which left six dead and 23.
LST further ordered the authority to ensure Compensation payment to the victims.
The environmental watchdog also observed that similar incidents occurred repeatedly due to illegal trade in harmful chemicals and noted that the Gujarat pollution control board (GPCB) has revoked the closing notice issued for the industry after several days without taking strict action.
It turned out that the vehicle involved in this illegal waste disposal was not even confiscated considering the incident of February 9, 2019 when two people died of inhaling toxic gases in the state.

Similar incidents of illegal discharge resulted in the death of two people due to toxic gas inhalation on February 2, 2019 in the state of Gujarat also dealing with Hon’s problem ‘BLE NGT.
NGT has received an order on May 9, 20-19 on illegal waste disposal into the River letter in Ankleshwar and Vapi, “according to the command.
The incident penglegardation, NGT said the accident might be due to the mixing of very acidic water in natural channels and liquid waste from very basic tankers.
“The reaction of the illegal disposal of liquid waste (very basic) through tankers and very acidic waste water in the upstream natural disposal GIDC has resulted in the release of various toxic gases.
Causality due to intensive illegal activities has resulted in the accident,” noted.
Following the incident, NGT took the Casing Suo Motu and issued a notification to interested parties.
Environmental activists, Msh Shaikh also appealed at NGT.
Then combining both cases, NGT announced the assessment on Thursday.
