The Noida Airport Terminal will feel like Haveli

New Delhi: The upcoming Noida International Airport (Nia) will not see too many transit passengers with Igi Delhi.
The company in charge of building and operating the airport expects a large number of Nia’s footsteps from their heavy catches and domestic leaflets to have a 90% share in early traffic in the initial phase.
“I did not see passengers to take flights that connect between Igia and the Jewar.
It sounds quite complicated even if the connectivity is very good,” said CEO Nia Christoph Schnellmann told toi.
“I see both airports serving their respective catchment areas, passenger requests.
We hope that there are many points to the point (air traffic) in Noida.
There is no shortage of prime time slots for airlines and we will offer transfers, both domestic and international.
The terminal has been designed to ensure fast transfer, “Schnellman added.
Swiss Airport Major Zurich AG The 40-year concession period to build and operate Noida Airport began in October 1.
The RS 5,730 Crore project must start operations at the end of September 2024.
“We are committed to providing phase 1 from the airport in three years,” Schnellmann said.
Nia currently chooses engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors for the airport.
This will submit the design and tender documents to the selected bidder to select two EPC Contractors – one for the terminal and the other for “everything”.
According to Schnellman, the terminal design will be “very much at home above, taking architectural elements and materials from within the region”.
The CEO of Nia said “HAVEAS and Temple architecture” in this region has inspired the design “the material you will see, stones and a very large front yard in front of the airport, will reflect it,” he said.
The hostel gate “mixed rotation” airport will allow aircraft to anchor handle domestic and international flights from the same bay.
Which means after the passenger gets off the flight, say, it comes from Mumbai and the luggage is lowered, the airline can ride leaflets to Dubai from the same gate without a plane that requires a taxi to a separate international wing.
“We will offer domestic and international traffic from the same terminal, from the same position or parking gate.
Arriving internationally, departing domestic and vice versa.
The terminal will be a multi-level structure that allows you to separate passengers.
So, if they arrive International, then they will take different courses from domestic arrivals, “Schnellman said.
The airport will use digital technology widely for what the concession holder describes as “not dated experience”.
“We take instead of the airport process from the terminal (as much as possible) and put on a passenger smartphone.
Design and technology will ensure a fast-limit travel experience is good for passengers in the terminal and for airlines in terms of operating the next flight after landing here.
This will ensure a quick connection, “said CEO Nia.
The Masterplan for the airport also provides a helipads.
Phase 1 from the airport will see the runway and terminal with 1.2 passenger crore handling capacity every year.
The terminal will be equipped with 10 aerobridges, with around 75% of passengers start and go down through them.
The bus will be used for the rest.
Reaching 80% of 1.2 crore passenger signs will trigger the next stage of expansion in the first phase, which will see the mirror-image extension of the terminal building to handle an additional 1.8 passenger crore every year.
“So, at the end of the first phase of development, we will have a runway and terminal with a capacity of 3 crore passengers every year,” Schnellman said.
In the second phase, the runway and the terminal building will be added which will take Nia at the event of finally 7 crore passengers every year.
This terminal, like IGI T1, will be built in two phases.
The final capacity of IGI airport is around 11 passengers crore.
So, along with Nia, the total capacity for handling Delhi-NCR airport can in a decade reach 18 crore passengers every year.
