Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 4,393 COVID-19 cases on Saturday 1,643 recorded in the larger Hyderabad Municipal (GHMC) corporation limit.
The number of active cases jumped to 31,199.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the emergence of pandemics increased to 7.31 lakh.
Two deaths were recorded on Saturday, taking the total amount of death to 4,071.
From new cases, 421 was recorded at Medchal Malkajgiri and 286 in Rangeddy.
A total of 2,319 people recovered on Saturday to reduce the overall recovery rate to 95.18%.
The total number of patients recovered now stands at 6.95 lakh.
Apart from GHMC and its surroundings, districts that see more cases including Hanamkonda who saw 184 cases, Khammam 128, Peddapalli 98, Mahubnagar 93, Karimnagar 88 on Saturday.
