The Odisha Government approves the Drinking Water Project worth 1,550 crore

Bhubaneswar: Drinking Water Project Worth Rs 1,550 Crore for various rural and urban areas in Sundargarh, District of Knight and Cuttack approved by the Country Cabinet as part of its efforts to provide pipe water supply to all rustic households in 2024 countries Panchayati Raj Minist Pratap Jena said the project Drinking water worth 1,175 crore is approved for the Sundargarh district, which will benefit around 6.40 lakh people in 10 blocks of districts dominated by tribes.

This project will be funded under the mission of Jal Jeevan Center.
“The state government has set a target to complete both projects within 24 months from the day of work.
Agents based in Mumbai have been involved for the implementation of work,” Jena said.
To increase the water supply in Joda and Champua Civic Bodies in Keonjhar Regency, a proposal for housing and urban development departments for RS 103 Crore’s water supply project has also been approved.
The implementation of the project will begin in September and it is expected to be completed in August 2023.
The Cabinet also approved the Amendment to the Odisha land settlement law, 1962 to simplify and complete various types of land such as ‘typical’, ‘Gramakantha Parambok’ and ‘eternal’ supporting people People under work.
According to the amendment, everyone in the job of the type of land will apply in the period determined by the government from time to time that failed to be expelled from the land and the government will take over.

The project to be developed with an investment of Rs 103 Crore will serve as a road to mining Traffic Bearings Conning Basundhara Coal Mines.
Similarly, the decision to release royalties and other mandatory payments for the supply of Khondalite blocks, which will be used for the implementation of the project under the Aftaha also get approval from the cabinet.
Among other things, the Cabinet approved amendments to several service rules to provide better promotional roads and service conditions to state government employees.
