Oneplus 8 Series Phones – Oneplus 8, Oneplus 8 Pro and Oneplus 8T – will get the Coloros update next year.
It was announced by Oneplus COO, Liu Fengshuo by posting on the Weibo Chinese microblogging site.
Update, according to the post, is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.
It does not determine whether the global unit or only users in China will get updates.
Most likely, ColorOS updates for the Oneplus 8 series will arrive for Chinese units.
The Oneplus cellphone usually comes with oxygeno.
But it changed with the Oneplus 9 series when Chinese mobile variants were announced with Coloro Oppo.
But, the global unit still runs on oxygeno.
Meanwhile, the company has launched an Android 11 operating system update for Oneplus 6 smartphones and Oneplus 6T.
The duo was launched in 2018 with an Android 8.0 OERO operating system outside the box.
Oneplus began testing the first beta Oxygenos 11 in July earlier this year.
Furthermore, smartphones receive two beta updates.
The latest stable update will have a launch that is staged and initially will be available for a number of limited users and will have a wider launch in a few days.
