Bengaluru: If you plan to bring your dog to take a walk inside the Cubbon Park, be prepared to take the dirt and drop it to the nearest trash can.
This direction is part of many regulations that the Horticulture Department will enforce from the week after the recent high court expressed concern that allowed the pet dog in the city’s main lung.
The reading note department: “The owner is to ensure their pets are not a source of disorders to others.
All owners must carry spoons and take their dog shit and store them in the trash provided.” Poop dog raises a big problem in the park because most animal owners are Pets don’t take it while walking around.
There are examples of verbal arguments that break between dog owners and morning pedestrians on it.
Ironically, the order of the department is silent at the action that will begin with dog owners who refuse to clean the dirt.
However, an official of the Horticulture Department said: “We will first create awareness between the owners before taking criminal acts.
All guards at the entrance will advise them to carry a spoon, and if they continue to oppose orders, they will not be allowed to enter the park with their pet.
“Apart from this, pet owners have been directed to hold their dogs with ropes that are no more than six feet.
Pet crates in public places make sure the passing person is safe, the department said.
Officials say around 300 pets are brought to the park on weekdays and the number across 1,000 on weekends.
Deputy Director of Pub Pub Park (Horticulture) HT Balakrishna said: “With the help of the police and our staff, we will monitor the entry of pet dogs to Cubbon Park.
We do not want the public to face a disturbance by pets and owners.” The staff has mandate to check whether the dog is tied .
