Chandrapur: There is a wave of joy between liquor sellers after the prohibition is revoked here after six years long.
A video showing a happy beer bar operator carrying out ‘aarti’ from Guardian Minister Chandrapur Vijay Wadettiwar – which is seen as an architect for revocation of the ban – is doing a round.
Former liquor license holders have begun to update excise permits suspended from their liquor outlets and beer bars.
The State Excise Department has published 308 permits of liquor so far.
Liquor sales are at the highest point of all time in all outlets and bar beer bars in all districts, and the seller thanks Wadettiwar for its initiative to attract the ban.
There was such euphoria because of the ban on the ban that people had begun to glorify Wadettiwar for his actions.
The beer operator bar that is seen in the video drove by carrying out the aarti image (portraits) of Wadettiwar at the famous bar and restaurant in Lohara, about eight km from the city, as a signal of gratitude.
The man in the video was identified as a Garden Gardenwar.
The video pan came out to show the rack holding a bottle of liquor at the Bar where Aarti was done.
Videos posted on social media have drawn a lot of comments, some criticism and others surprise the man’s actions.
The call was made to Wadettiwar to look for his reaction on viral videos not answered.
Meanwhile, examples of liquor are sold at higher prices than the maximum retail price (MRP) printed on bottles after revocation of prohibitions has been in the future in the district.
Following several complaints received for this effect, the State Excise Ministry is set to launch the drive to curb practices in liquor stores and beer shops.
Several after the State Excise Department cleaned the license, many bar beer, liquor, liquor, and foreign liquor stores began in all districts.
Even after a week, the large crowd of tiplers continued to crush these places following Covid curfew after 4pm.
Taking the same advantage, the seller of this authorized liquor has begun selling bottle of liquor at a higher price than the MRP department official who said they would take action according to the law for the violation.
There are also complaints about liquor sold to customers who do not have permission to drink liquor.
The Excise Ministry is also interested in checking the sales registers of liquor sellers to verify how liquor is sold to so many people without drinking permission.
The catch is that all licenses of liquor consumption in Chandrapur (including lifetime permissions) have disappeared after liquor.
Banned in Chandrapur in 2015.
As the Curche Department did not issue permits for drinking fresh liquor after the prohibition was revoked, there was no person who was authorized to buy liquor in Chandrapur.
However, all bars and shops have bumper sales every day.
