The owner of the plot lay idle gets one year to complete construction

Noida: Thousands of people who bought land in town a few years ago but leaving empty plots now will have more time to complete construction.
According to orders issued on July 30, the Noida Authority will send legal notifications to the person and they will get a year, from the date mentioned in their notification, to complete construction work.
As of August 31, 2020, the industrial area development law was changed and the authority was given the power to cancel the land deeds for the plot allocated but left empty for years.
The amendment stated: “Any land given but is not used for the purpose of being allocated within five years from the date of ownership or in a fixed period for the utilization in the allotment conditions, any longer, the deed of rent will be canceled and the land will be vest With authority.
“So far, the Noida Authority has allocated around 50,000 plots intended for the use of housing, industry, commercial and institutional, along with land for farmers under the eternal scheme of 5%.
As soon as the amendment was taken, a survey was carried out and the Noida Authority identified 3,766 empty plots after the allocation.
Most of it is a housing plot.
From September 7 last year, the authority began sending notifications to Allottees asking them to start construction work on the plot or cancellation of their faces.
But subsequently, authority officials requested advice to the government about whether they had to offer liberation to people with pandemics, because many of them could not start working because of restrictions related to Covid and other problems.
“On July 30, the Department of Industry provides a new and present order, legal notice must be sent to all Urtects by registered post.
We will notify them that they have one year to take the certificate of settlement from authority.
If not, the rental deed will be canceled and plot They will be taken over by the authority, “said an official from the Noida Authority.
Notifications will be sent to 900 Housing and 280 Alotting Industrial Plots, officials said.
Arvind Kumar, the Head of the Additional School, Industrial Department, said: “Period (one year) will be calculated from the date mentioned in the notification and the cancellation of the process will begin thus.” For now, the authority will not take action against the land intended for empty group housing projects.
Ashu Yadav, a Ghazipur resident who bought a plot in Sector 61 in 2012, said: “It was bought with my mother’s name.
He died in 2018 and I got it transferred to my name.
But because of a pandemic, I can’t start construction.
