Rajkot: The preliminary shop owner was arrested on Thursday night because he allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl in Rajkot.
Kota Kota Rajkot said that a 38-year-old woman from the Mochi Bazaar area in Rajkot filed a complaint against Bodiya Paras (35), accused him of raping his little daughter twice in recent months.
The police said that Bodiya married and had two children.
According to police complaints, Bodiya has a preliminary store at Mochi Bazaar.
The little girl was used to visit the Bodiya store often to buy provisions for her home.
The shop owner was friends with the girl and they swap cellphone numbers.
“Bodiya told the girl that he liked it and wanted to marry her as soon as she became an adult,” police said.
A few months ago, Bodiya took the girl to the guest house and suspected of raping her.
A week ago, the defendant came to the girl’s house when she was alone and once again raped her, police said, quoting the complaint submitted by the girl’s mother.
After the incident last week, the girl was depressed and stopped talking to family members.
When his mother asked about his strange behavior, the girl told him about Bodiya.
“After Wahyu, the woman approached the police and filed a complaint against the Bodiya who had not been arrested,” police said.
