Amritsar: Pakistani Parbandhak Committee Sikh Gurdwara (PSGPC) issued a procession of Nagar Kirtan on Wednesday to mark the first installation of Sri Teacher Granth Sahib in the Golden Temple.
Residents of Sahib Nankans, Babar Jalandhari told the Toi on Wednesday that Nagar Kirtan began with Gurdwara Bal Leela Sahib and concluded in Gurdwara Janam Asthan Naikan Sahib.
“In addition to the highly Sikh, a large number of local Muslims also participated in Nagar Kirtan, led by Piaras,” said Babar.
While PSGPC celebrated the day as Par Nanakshahi Calander was released in 2003, the Parbandhak Committee Shiroman Gurdwara will celebrate the event on September 7, according to the versions of the views of Nanakshahi Calander.
