Jaipur: The curtain finally fell on a protracted legal battle between members of the Kingdom of Jaipur for the ownership of valuable property, Jai Mahal Palace Hotel and Rambagh Palace Hotel, after a court appointed Mediator (Right) Murian Joseph medium to a friendly settlement.
According to the settlement, Devraj Singh and his sister Litiya Kumari, grandchildren Maharani Gayatri Devi, will regain a luxury heritage property, Jai Mahal Palace Hotel, from their uncle step while they released their shares at the Rambagh Palace in supporting their uncle.
Devraj Singh and Laldom Kumari, Children of the late Jagat Singh, Sawai Man Singh from his marriage to Gayatri Devi, will regain their innate properties after peaceful completion.
Vijit Singh and his brother Jai Singh, the son of the late Prithviraj Singh, Sawai Man Singh’s son of his marriage to Maharani Kishore Kunwar, agreed to submit the Jai Mahal Palace hotel to Devraj and Laldom according to settlements arrived on December 15.
Both of them will become the sole owner of this magnificent property run as a hotel by the Tata group with management contracts.
They in turn will release their shares at the Rambagh Palace fully support Jai Singh and Vijit Singh.
Jaipur Kingdom family members, who have bets on private property that include luxury hotels and other non-moving properties, decided to go for the completion of the court after the Supreme Court.
It followed many years of legal battles contested in various courts, including the National Company Law Court.
The Supreme Court has appointed retired Judge Judge Joseph as a mediator to complete a solution.
After the settlement, Joseph’s justice presented the documents before the Supreme Court.
After studying the same thing, the court accepts the same thing and passes through the order that will bind all stakeholders.
