Ludhiana: After the complaint submitted by residents of Shaheed Bhagat Singh (SBS) Nagar for poor civil facilities around the old city structure, the Punjab Human Rights Commission has asked the city corporate commissioner to hear this case.
Sharma has raised this problem with last year’s commission, stating, “the downtown structure has become a disruption to residents because it is full of garbage and stagnant water.” Sharma said, “After one year, the Commission has directed the MC commissioner to listen to complaints on January 11, 2022.
I have all the evidence with me and will present them in the trial.” Regional residents have complained that the structure did not have security measures, prone to accidents and saw many accidents in the past.
They claim that even trash is discharged around the structure because they face problems such as foul odors and breeding flies and mosquitoes.
They have demanded that at least there must be a fence around the city center structure for public safety and that the authorities must find a solution to this problem.
Ludhiana repair trust officials cannot increase things despite some claims.
