Gurgaon: Deputy Commissioner (DC) visited Sirhaul Toll Plaza on Tuesday to take stock of traffic situations in the area.
Responding to many complaints by commuting about traffic congestion in the victim during the top office hours, DC is a committee to suggest changes in design and other alternatives to reduce congestion.
After the committee filed his advice, the traffic police would conduct a trial to test the efficacy of these steps.
“Traffic congestion on the Sirhaul border has become a persistent problem.
Despite the efforts included by traffic police, the problem continues.
We want to find a lasting solution to this problem.
For this, we do detailed inspections today.
A committee is based on, And we will soon come up with a solution, “said Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg.
DCP (Traffic) Ravindra Singh Tomar, National Highway Authority (NHAI) Official, and road safety officers are also present during the location inspection.
According to the traffic police, the congestion continued because of a long queue in the city of Delhi (MCD) and delays in cleaning the vehicle.
Traffic police further noted that structural problems such as 21 e-way lines on the Gurgaon side which converged into four lines on the Delhi side also caused the pressure of large vehicles from Gurgaon.
“Vehicles traveling from Gurgaon to Delhi face problems because of convergent traffic to a narrow lane on the side of Delhi.
The median can slightly shift to overcome this problem.
We can also consider serving service lines on the main line,” DCP advice on Tomar RS traffic.
According to NHAI, the MCD Toll was established on the toll road after the high court order allowed the Civic Agency to establish the same thing for commercial vehicles entering Delhi.
An official noted that if the median shifted to the Dhanchari camp, only the eight lane train road would be available to reach The Rajokri Flyover, resulting in congestion on the stretch again.
“So, shifting the median will also not help,” Nhai officials showed that other alternatives were discussed.
