The Panthers demanded the same division of seats between Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: Delegation of five leaders of Parthers Panthers J & K (JKNPP), led by his President Prof.
Bhim Singh, who called on the restriction commission in connection with the process of restrictions at J & K and demanded that the commission must distribute seats at 50:50 between two regional provinces Union.
In addition to Prof.
Singh, a delegation including Dev Singh, former Education Minister P K Ganju, Senior Vice President, Miss Anita Thakur, Mohd Iqbal Chowdhary, and S Paramjit Singh Marshal.
The Panthers Party also presents a strong memorandum for the restriction commission, which includes justice (retd) Ranjana Prakash Desai, Chief Commissioner of Sushil Chandra’s election and commissioner DY Chandra Bhushan.
Overcoming the restriction commission, Prof.
Singh said that the first priority must reduce internal and external tensions and request the final against political discrimination.
He told the Commission that Parliament had improved 90 assembly seats for J & K and demanded that restricents must distribute seats on a 50:50 basis, namely 45 assembly seats for Kashmir Province and 45 for Jammu Province.
He said the 50:50 formula would alleviate tensions between the two regions made people happy.
But he regretted the Ladakh area which was ignored for this exercise.
He urged the restriction commission to submit a request on the name of the Panthers party that Ladakh must also have a Assembly.
He also pleaded that the scheduled tribes (Gujar, Bakerawi and Gaddies) must be given reservations as they have been given in laws made by J & K and urge to shift seats ordered for the scheduled caste (SC) because their backup seats have not rotated.

Singh also begged the Commission that the J & K must be restored without the delay and assembly selection must be held on ad-hoc restrictions as this time.
