The paralyzed young man’s offer to enter the Guinness record

Bhubaneswar: Trust in a person’s ability coupled with strong will and determination can make miracles occur.
This was proven on Sunday when a 28-year-old young man, who was paralyzed from the waist fell after an accident on Jalan eight years ago, tried to enter the Guinness World Records by covering the maximum distance in a wheelchair in 24 hours.
Even though the confirmation was awaited, Kamal Kanta Nayak included 213 km in 24 hours on track between the master canteen to Raj Mahal Square in this city in an effort to break the previous record 182 km.
Starting at 4:30 in the afternoon on Saturday, Kamal continued to ride a wheelchair and took a two-hour break for food, hydration, and other needs.
“This is indeed a great moment because I can achieve achievements.
I thank everyone who believes in my abilities and inspires me to try it.
I hope this will definitely motivate many young men who are bound to another wheelchair to achieve something in their lives.
From This stage I want to promise you all that you will find in the next paralympics, “Kamal said.” The total events have been carefully documented with 24-hour video recording, assessed by 12 independent qualified witnesses and GPS logs for all tracks using various devices , “said Sidharth Daga, a member of the Founde Life Life Foundation, a voluntary organization that works with people who are very disabled.
The Head of the Swami Physiotherapy Department Vivekanda Institute of Rehabilitation and Research Training Dr.
PP Mohanty said, “Kamal is one of the miracle stories.
After the accident, he truly experienced demoralization and tried to commit suicide.
But after motivating it, the boy could achieve that achievement.
He is also very good at sports and proves that disability cannot be a barrier.
