Not only the city of Diamond, Seths has left footprints in Mumbai also where a hill is named after one of his family members.
Rustampura, one of the oldest areas in the letter, was named after Rustam Manek Seth, a Parsi priest who proceeded to become a broker for British, Portuguese and Dutch factories.

Seth died on July 30, 1721 in the city.
“Very few know about RustPura’s history or how it gets its name.
Similar to other areas that are also named by the same family members.
Centuries ago, the Seth Family contributed a lot towards the development of the letter,” said Giara, currently settled at Navsari.
After retiring from IT companies, Giara began digging the history of Parsis and published a book about his historical findings.

“Rustam died before getting the return of the progress he had given to the East Indian company.
His son Noroji went to England to beg this case.
He is among the first Indians to go to England and be rewarded with honor dress and Rs 5.46 lakh , “said Giara.
