Nagpur: The day after the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) allows house isolation for patients, asymptomatic and light hospitals, and Covid care centers (CCC) in the city began to succumb with the request of repatriation of patients on Tuesday.

Private hospitals were confirmed to the Toi that patients who had not finished 10 days after entering, and they admitted a few days back demanding discharge, and the hospital must oblige.
“We allow all patients without symptoms and light to enter into house isolation because there is no legitimate reason for holding them.
Some of them need oxygen support, so they are still there,” the doctor said.
Officials at AIIMS Nagpur said gradually all patients without symptoms and lightness would run out.
“About 20 patients were sent back suddenly.

NMC has allowed all asymptomatic and light patients who are vaccinated to remain in house isolation.

Ashwini Took, a specialist of infectious diseases at Kingsway Hospital, said that he did not allow home isolation for unbaccinated people could backfire.
