Jammu: The police restored aircraft-shaped balloons with “Pia” written on it from Rakh Abtal’s border villages in the Ramgarh sector in the Samba J & K district on Sunday.
“Balloon Bearing ‘Pia’ (Pakistan International Airlines – The National Air Carrier of Pakistan) was found in agricultural fields by several locals who told the police.
A police team reached the place and grabbed the balloon,” said a police source.
Samba SSP Rajesh Sharma confirmed recovery.
On August 10, balloons were similar to the pia sign found in Rajouri District.
On March 30 and March 16, a similar balloon was restored from the Kanachak area and Bhalwal Jammu.
Other balloons were seized by police from Sotra Chak Hiranagar Village on March 10.
