Coimbatore: To avoid bus stops crowding and other places after school hours, Coimbatore District Education Office plans to close the closing time for the school located nearby.
Announcement is expected in this case on Monday.
At present, the class starts at 9:30 a.m.
and ends at 3.30 in the afternoon.
Class IX-XII students attend a physical class since September 1.
Although most schools have managed to maintain social distance on the campus, students look crowded outside school after school hours.
Students crowding bus stops are more common in the city corporation limit because many schools are located near.
“For example, the Post Office bus holder, Raja Bali Bus and City Hall is full of students after 3.30 a.m..
Students can be seen standing in groups after school hours of social distance Kalpana, a teacher from a corporate school at the City Hall, said.
To ensure students do not get along with each other on the bus stand, the CEO office has asked the school located nearby to discuss between themselves and plan the removal of staggering students.
“However, the plan does not seem to work because it will extend school hours for several schools.
Therefore, we have decided to leave students who staggered,” said Head of Coimbatore District Head Education, Netha.
We can allow class IX students to go early in the afternoon, and other classes can come out with a gap of half an hour each.
This will prevent student collection outside the campus.
“We have also asked for school management to warn students against waiting for hours outside of school,” he said.
