Washington: A man who claimed to have a bomb in a pickup truck near the US Capitol who gave the police on Thursday after a deadlock that pared Washington’s plot for more than five hours.

Thomas Manger told reporters that the man, identified as Floyd Ray Roseberry, parked his vehicle on the sidewalk outside the US Congress Library around 9:15 am Edt (1315 GMT) and told an officer who approached him he had Bomb while holding what appears as a detonator.
The police closed the streets and evacuated the buildings nearby when they negotiate with Roseberry, 49.
“He gave up and did not refuse and our people could take him to detention without incidents,” said Manger.
The police did not say whether he had explosives.
Two sources of law enforcement, talking to anonymous requirements, said he seemed to act alone.
A video run on Facebook shows Roseberry, a bald white man with Goatee, talking in a black truck parked on the sidewalk.
“The active revolution, is here,” Roseberry said in the video, while appearing to hold a large metal branch in his lap.
“I’m ready to die for his purpose.” His ex-wife, Roseberry crystal, told Reuters that he had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and threatened him with firearms in the past.
He said he divorced him about eight years ago.
“He’s crazy.
He pulled my gun and his sister, and shot me many times,” said the woman.
Facebook removes the Roseberry profile and disables Livestream after a few hours.
The police said they did not know the motives.
The federal agent raided his house in Grover, North Carolina, during the deadlock in the capital M.S.
Neighbors describe Roseberry as a known republic occasionally wearing a red “Maga” hat to show his support for former President Donald Trump.
He also criticized Democrats on social media.
They said Roseberry would trigger explosives on his yard and disturb deer hunters by firing their weapons repeatedly.
Benjamin Christopher told Reuters, the explosion made him upset and his wife, both of which served in Afghanistan.
“My wife and I, both of us are Afghan veterinarians, and both of us were injured in Afghanistan through a bomb, so it wasn’t too good with my wife with her did it,” he said.
The drama in Washington took place in an area surrounded by a high security fence after a horde of Trump supporters invaded the Capitol on January 6.
The fence was removed in mid-July.
The Capitol complex which is usually relatively quiet on Thursday, with the US House of Representatives and the Senate out of the session.
The police blocked the road around the Capitol complex as a fire and rescue of the truck and federal agent towards the area.
The nearest building, including the US Supreme Court, was evacuated.
