Greater Noida: The worker’s scorer continued to rage at the ATS construction site in Greater Noida (West) on Tuesday after one of his compatriots died due to intentionally on Monday night.
Workers who protested also allegedly threw stones at the police, damaging Van PCR and burned patrol bikes after the police team used the power to disperse them.
Twenty-seven workers were arrested, police said on Wednesday.
The workers who died were identified as Tarun Basu, which came from the Malda District of West Bengal.
Other workers began protesting compensation requests for the basu family.
“During the incident, one Van PCr was broken.
The window was broken and the police bike was also damaged,” said a police officer.
The violence stopped after police summoned reinforcements.
The police said after autopsy, Tarun’s family members had taken the body.
After receiving compensation from the developer on Tuesday, the family had gone to West Bengal, the police said.
DCP (Central Noida) Harish Chander said 60-70 workers, 12 of them were crowned, booked in the firs submitted at the Ecotech III police station.
Getambar Anand, chairman and managing director of the ATS Group, told TII that a group of workers from Malda acted as a protest at that location because they were led by the interests of shares.
“The deceased family is compensated according to the law, but workers led by contractors have personal interests because they use protests and not let other workers work.
When the police were called, they were forced to throw stones at the police,” he said.
Two pine has been submitted against workers – one below part 147 (riots) and 427 (damage causing damage) from the IPC in complaints from builders and others below section 188 (the disobedience of orders promulgated by civil servants), 269 and 270 (active actions will distribute infection), 353 (violence or criminal to prevent public servants from import duties), 427 and 336 (rashes or negligent actions that endanger human life or personal safety of others), part 3 of public property laws) and part of Epidemic acts.
