The police confiscated 51 films in the case of Kundra

Mumbai: The Public Prosecutor on Saturday told Bombay HC that “51 Film Pornography was confiscated” from two applications by the Crime Branch of Mumbai and Raj Kundra and Ryan Thorpe arrested because they had “started removing the WhatsApp group”, therefore “destroying evidence.”

The Public Prosecutor Aruna Pai opposes a separate duo challenge for the arrest and detention they say is “illegal” because there are “no obedience” towards CRPC notifications for their explanation, mandated when a violation draws a maximum sentence of seven years.
At hearing through video conferencing before Judicial Ajay Gadkari, PAI said the duo was accused of “serious violations of pornographic streaming content” and police “also seized material from the telephone and storage device”.
He said there was a “email message from Kundra in his hotshot application with Bakshi Pardeep, his brother-in-law, who owned a company in London.”

Police “find obscene and thick videos” and information about a number of customers, payment is received, he said.
Previously, Aabad Ponda, Kundrra’s advice, said the police had not mentioned the elimination of chat in their first detention and questioned the blockage.
The court will continue the trial on Monday.
