The police confiscated explosives from the vehicle

Guwahati: Police on Friday grabbed 13 bags of substances and devices that exploded from the vehicle in Guwahati and detained two people in connection with him.
Both have been identified as Ainal Ali and Rahim Badsha from Bongaiga Regency AS Assam.
According to a police statement, a police patrol party intercepted a vehicle traveling at high speed from Lakhra Chariai to Boragaon on the outskirts of the city on Friday morning.
“The patrol party chased and managed to stop the vehicle at Garchuk Chariai.
When searching for a vehicle, they found a large number of explosive substances.
We have understood two people,” said Nabaneet Manganta, DCP, West Guwahati Police District.
Police Commissioner Guwahati Harmet Singh said 4,660 gelatin sheets and 2,300 electric detonator sheets were found in the bag.
He said the defendant was supposed to be traveling from Meghalaya and headed for Rani.
