KOLLAM: Police Sacthikulangara has registered a case against Sunija in connection with the death of his daughter-inlaw Anuja (22) from Kannimelcherry in Kollam Barat on Saturday.
Anuja, wife of Sathhesh from Pulinchikkal’s house in Kannimelcherry, was found hanging in their room on June 30 night.
Husband and relatives took him to a private hospital and then to a personal medical college.
On Friday, he shifted to the medical college hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, and he died on Saturday morning.
This case was registered with a complaint submitted by parents Anuja – Ani and Rajesway in the Sacthikulangas -It’s Sunija used to harass their daughter mentally.
The team led by ACP A Pratheeep Kumar was conducting an investigation.
