Chennai: The body of a 33-year-old lost man was found from a well in Chengalpet on Wednesday.
The police said the man was allegedly killed by a gang of seven members for their affair in the district.
Police said Ramu from Dr.
Ambedkar Street in Sriparumbudur worked in a private factory nearby.
His wife Renuka, 27, has filed a complaint on Monday that a ramper who left home on Sunday afternoon did not return.
Police for suspicion, arrest his friends dinesh and later they also get information about the body in the well.
Police arrested Dinesh, 27, Mani, 39, Vinoth, 20, Prabakaran, 22, Poventhiran, 19, Aakash, 20 and Chinrasu, 21.
Questions revealed Mani and his wife Mahakshmi separated a few years ago.
Friends of Mani Dinesh and Ramu have an affair with Mahalahakshmi without knowing each other.
Mahalakshmi was charged with her husband recently when a ramper threatened to continue the relationship.
Mahalahakshmi tells this to Mani after that the duo hits plans to eliminate it.
On Sundays, Dinesh and the others went drinking where the gang tarnished the throat and dumped it with a well.
