The police slapped a fine to meet the government’s target, said Satheani

Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition Leader VD Sathean accused that the state government has set a target for the police to raise money from people in terms of fine.
To mobilize funds, the state government misuses the police in the state and the end result is that the police slap fines for everything, he added.
“The police tortured and threatened innocent people to meet the target set by the government.
The police were forced to raise money in a small fine of ordinary people,” Satheani’s claim after UDF’s meeting on Monday.
RSP was satisfied after talks, he said that there was no difference between constituents in UDF and all partners in front had promised their support for new leadership in Congress.
Previously on that day, Sathean’s President and KPCC K Sudhakan held a meeting with RSP leaders to resolve the issue submitted by UDF constituents.
The RSP leaders have alleged that Congress leaders have played Spoilsport during the latest assembly selection in seats contested by RSP candidates.
Apart from this, the RSP also accused that it was given the hardest seat.
During the discussion, the KPCC President assured that strict action would be taken against all leaders who had worked against UDF candidates.
“Such leaders will not be given a party post after repairs,” Sudhakanan said after the meeting.
RSP State Secretary Aa Azeez said the party was satisfied with the discussion possessed by Congress leaders and leadership had assured that all problems raised by them would be considered and resolved, he added.
