Mumbai: The day after four nursing home staff were ordered for the death of a 2-year-old child who was given the wrong injection, the crime branch of the city stormed the practice of three shamans and arrested them, seized a large number of their companies from their company.
The defendant was Jaiprakash Bhusan Yadav (48), Kameshkumar Patel (51) and Mehboob Shaikh (40).
The police had ordered it under the IPC for negligence, endangering life, cheating, and under the laws of Maharashtra medical practitioners.
The crime branch has recovered a large number of injections for acidity, anti-allergic drugs, antibiotics, NS bottles, cannula, syringes, multivitamins and paracetamol, among others.
“The defendant claimed to have a degree in BMS, Naturopathy and Unani but they gave allopathy, it was seen giving injections and salt and allopathic medicines to patients,” Neelotpal said, DCP (crime).
Police Shivaji Nagar, along with health workers, also conducted a random inspection at the shady clinic operating in the slum bag Baiganwadi, Shivaji Nagar, Mandala in Mankhurd and Vashi Naka.
It was Police Shivaji Nagar who had ordered four staff for the death of a 2 year old child.
Police said they had launched the hunt for four accused.
The 2-year-old child was accepted at a nursing home in Baiganwadi, where a sweeper gave it with a azithromycin injection which was intended for other patients – a 16-year-old child.
The police said Toddlers died in a few minutes.
