Rajkot: Three police officers were attacked and the sub-inspector service gun was robbed by relatives of the defendant escaped after the police arrested him from a house in Bedla Rajkot Village on Saturday night.
Three policemen including Vijay Parmar Sub-Inspector from the Airport Police Station has raided the house to accuse the desired Vijay Jakhaniya in connection with the prohibition case.
The police said that Jakhaniya escaped for a long time and on Saturday she had visited her house.
Jakhaniya family members attacked the police when they left the village after holding it back.
The police were attacked with iron pipes and wooden sticks.
To warn the attackers, Parmar issued his service gun.
But in riot, one of the attackers grabbed Parmar weapons and the three police officers were beaten before the defendant escaped.
Then, police from the branch of crime and the operating group specifically conducted combing exercises in Bedla Village to arrest the defendants and relatives, but they were not found.
